Just replaced the swingarm on my bike, bought one off ebay a while back, on my original swingarm is has 'aprilia' embossed near the shock, also says made in italy underneath the swinger,
On the one I bought it doesnt have anything on it, no numbers, no 'aprilia' branding etc, also if you knock it, it had a different sound to it, sounds more hollow, feels lighter too, just wondering if anyone has any info on them?
It is just an old one or some sort of aftermarket swinger? everything else is pretty much identical, my local garage said it doesn't look like cast aluminium and that its a fabricated item? Picture below
