Can't edit the original post but just received the puller and it's a Honda Genuine part just in case anyone is worried about quality.
 
Eh up mate, replying here rather than your PM so anyone reading can benefit.

At the moment I can't seem to put my hands on any cheap sprags inside the EU. I'd PM this seller and confirm if the part number is Ducati 70140071A, this is your best bet as it's a direct replacement.

Alternatives if you can find them are: BMW ENA57177 or KTM 58440026000 if you can find them. They have to be installed backwards from what I know though.

For the puller this will do, can't see anything cheaper at a quick glance.

If you need any help doing the job just give me a shout, you can use my puller etc if I'm free.

I've had a BMW back to front sprag fitted for 4 years now and no issue's , so its a very viable alternative.

Did you install it the 'Wrong' way round or take is apart and change the direction of the rollers?

It's an easy ish job once you know what you're doing but a pain figuring it all out.

I've got the bolts for locking the crank, the locktite, the blowtorch, the puller etc and now the knowledge. One thing I would say is get a new gasket, mine had decided to weld itself half to the case, half the the crank case.. fuggered despite trying to be careful with it.
