UK spec headlight work on US bike?

Basically as described...looking at buying this, but I thought I remembered reading something about the UK spec headlight having different connectors or something not quite meshing right with the US spec bikes.

Have you checked the wiring diagram in the hand book?

no i haven't....but I think the wires are the same, but they're different connectors.

In the UK we drive on the left side of the road, so the dipped beam kicks up to the left to illuminate the side of the road. This would be shining into oncoming traffic if you drove on the right hand side of the road.

You can adjust the dip & angle of the headlight but I'm not sure by how much

I mite be wrong but I think the US spec bikes don't have a on/off switch in the handle bar for the head light. So they would be ASD models

i think you will find motorcycle head lights have a flat beam pattern and don't dip to oneside or the other

surely you can get a US one in the US AF1 are selling them new at $399
