Great to here you got a Tuono Mike, you will love it, they take a bit of time to get the best from them, but they are the best thing I have riden, and when I trade my 2003 model in, it will be for a another later Tuono. My wife aint to sure what it is either, best treat the women like mushrooms, keep em in dark and feed em crap..Lol...(laugh out loud)..fD

I guess I'm lucky,my wife is a petrolhead like me and she fully understands why this 51 yr old yobbo needs a T.:yes

Welcome kneedown. I think its quite strange that many of us T riders are slightly older, probably not wiser tho' than other bike riders.
I'm still a member on a blade site, and lots of them are 30-40.

Im 40, and I think insurance costs, bit of spare money as you get older, agresive but not crippling riding position and a house with a good garage or work shop, all make this an older, not old, mans ideal toy.

Hello kneedown

I lived in the bit stuck on the top of England we know and love as "Scotland" for 23 years ... and went to college in Glasgow

I also went to college in South Shields

Therefore - I am willing to act as babelfish if you get stuck

I can also recommend a couple of good web sites for those who struggle with some of our accents and dialects

www.whitdidrafudsaybytheway.com and www.whyayebonnylad.com

:biggrin Hey Newelly2, South Shields is pretty close to British West Hartlepool, did you ever find out who hung the monkey? :lol

Welcome mucker.

I thought that too ... I like him

May, as a memeber of the TZone festivity comittee ask for a vote as to whether (in exchange for 100 cans of piss or 15 mins with the seahawk cheerio babes) we should welcome this chap to our next trip to Trickys pub?

It's a long way to come but in the meanwhile iof I can help with jock spoke translation would be happy to help.
Spent time in the services & lived North/South/West Wales. West Yorkshire, West Sussex, Londonium, Midlands, also worked in Lancashire and have worked with Scousers, Maccams & Geordies so understand most British dialects. Have trouble with Pickey spoke though.
