i need a 2 nd set of tyres for a 2 nd set of wheels ive got , i currently run mich pilots and am very pleased with their perfomance on my gen 2.

i have just read a load of reviews on the conti motion tyres and theyre all good , i have a set of these on my gs1000 but this is more of a show bike / posing bike , so the tyres dont realy get a work out !!

as i,m a bit sceptical of so called reviews, i need some genuine feed back bike is not used for track days so dont need super sticky stuff just summat thats sort of "budget " but not ***** !!

anybody got some or used some ????????????????????????????????????? continental contimotion .

Most sport touring tyres are good these days.
Many use Angel GT, Pilot road 2. See what you can get the best deals on

As Above, plus BT 023's, Pirelli Stradas, Dunlop Roadsmart, etc I guess it depends on what deals are out there.

I've never tried Continentals on a bike so I can't comment. I love 'em on the car, but that's not a good comparison.

conti motions are very very good, I bought them coz they are £140 a pair and couldn't believe how good they are, I've had a lot of the so called performance sticky rubber but these are just as good IMHO, give em a go,

woooot!!

another tyre thread!
I'm in!
where's me popcorn?

SportSmarts.....similar mileage to sports touring....but full-on stick as sticky ****!

ive just had bridgestone T30"s fitted to my bike, had the 023"s fitted before hand, this T30 is the new replacement for the 23"s and what a difference ! :thumbup had 190/55/17 on the rear before now 190/50/17 and the bike tips into corners now better than ever ! grip all you want :thumbup even in heavy rain !!! as for wear......watch this space:thumbup
