Hi Guys,

What sort of tyre pressure would you recommend for an 08 RSVR firstly for road and secondly for track, using corsa 111's at the moment but will be changing to 2ct's soon.

Many Thanks

Paul

Hi Paul

Not sure if this helps, I am using Pirelli Diablo Corsa's on my 2000, the rear being 190 which I will surely try the 180 when its shot.

Solo road riding and I am running 37 front and 38-39 rear, although I have not tracked them, my last track setting was around 32-33 front and 30-31 rear. Not gospel but it seemed to work ok.

Cheers Pete

hi bud, i ride a 04 factory and for road use 33 front & 36 rear, for track 30f & 29r.

I run my 07 factory with 33.5 front and 36.5 rear for road riding, (I doubt the .5 make's a differance). I converted the 2.3 bar and 2.5 bar stated on the rear hugger into psi.

Michelin 2ct's are recommended at 33/36 i run 34/37, 36/42 IMO is to hard for a mille, i run that on my Futura and it is good but never on a Mille.

Best to always measure stone cold

Track pressures on dry tyres will be around the 30/30 mark, i run 27.5 rear and 30.5 front and wets at 34front and 32 rear

Hi all,

I used to run 36psi front and 42 psi rear years ago when i was very inexperienced and 'learning', as i wasn't using the sportsbike to any where near its potential. It made my rear last a lot longer back then:thumbup

Nowadays i'm a bit more experienced and can ride pretty darn quick when i want to. So its best not to run that high a pressure in the rear. Thats more for sports touring bikes.

Road riding I run 36 front and 36 rear. When i can get On track:angry I have 30 front and 30 rear. These will have to be set cold. :exclamation

So if your riding your steed to the circuit make sure you get there nice and early to allow a long time for the tyres to cool before setting your pressures.:biggrin

Cheers, now just need to sort out my suspension :)

They didnt have a guru there last time i went.
