Not sure if I would have the confidence in a DIY plug , always would take it to a pro just in case.

And the kit you have shown is for emergency not as a definate repair.
 
Got one tucked away in my bike for emergencies, but it does state that this is only for emergencies and you shouldn't exceed 50 mph once fitted and really you should go straight to a tyre garage and get it repaired properly asap.

had to order a new tyre today anyway but good for emergencies
 
Best to just call the AA or RAC in my experience, sometimes these inserts can enlarge the hole to such a degree a repair may not be possible.

Save your £30 on buying this kit and spend it on AA membership.

ITS ON THE WAY MATE ORDERED YESTERDAY .I USED A KIT SIMILAR TO THIS ONCE BUT IT HAD GLUE AND STRIPS OF RUBBER , I RAN THE TYRE FOR THE REST OF ITS LIFE WITHOUT PROBS AND IT GOT PUNCTURED WHEN TYRE WAS NEW .

I HAVE SEEN THIS KIT AND IT IS AN ENGINEERING PIECE OF EXCELLENCE . MY MATE AT THE TYRE PLACE TOLD ME TO GET ONE ALSO AS THE PLUGS ARE THE SAME SIZE AS THE ONES HE USES SO NO PROBS :thumbup
