Hi All

Just joined up, was wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between the Pirelli DIABLO SUPERCORSA SC and the Pirelli DIABLO SUPERCORSA BSB tyres are. Has any one used any of them? Just bought a set of the BSB to do a track day but now not sure if I have bought the right ones. I will also be using the bike on the road but don't want to risk trashing my bike at the track due to the wrong tyres. I have done about 6 other track days on a CBR 600 using Metzler Racetecs in the past. How do the Pirelli DIABLO SUPERCORSA BSB compare?

Thanks

I would say your more likely to trash the bike on the road as you probably won't be able to keep enough temp in the tyres all the time to make them work properly!I had a supercorsa pro sc2 on the tuono when I bought it and found that unless the road was warm it could slide about and a damp road road needed shown respect, this wasn't as track based as the one you have as far as i know(and thats not far)

I totally agree with 04 racing - my experience is the same. I am looking at the new Qualifier 11's or Supercorsa 111's on my '08 FT. Very confusing. I am definitely after a tyre that warms up quicker and is better in the wet than Super-pros which are definitly dodgy. I have Bridgestones on my R1 which are very confidence inspiring - just adds to my confusion. Comments welcomed!! :dunno

I've used Bridgestones BT-016's on my Z1000 and they gave good levels of grip and were predictable when they slid, and great in the wet.

I've also used Continental ContiSportAttack and they were just as good if not better as they lasted longer. The Conti's are cheaper but a great tyre and I would use them again.

Hope this is helps, its just my experiences.
