Hello, can you tell me if anyone has had or know's of having a oil cooler defecting >
What i mean is that i own a 55 plate brilliant Tuono ,but in a space of only 6 weeks i have had two oil coolers defecting and spilling all the oil over my garage floor. The first time was just before xmas where by i went to start the bike up to run the engine for awhile as it had not been started for atleast 6weeks since the last time i rode it, but as i started the bike literally a few seconds later the right hand side oil cooler exploded and dropped all the oil.
Basically the top right hand corner of the oil cooler had expanded and had lifted up come away from its mouldings.
After having the bike inspected by a approved Aprillia Dealer, they could only tell me that it was just down to a faulty part. So i had a new one fitted and then the same Damm thing happened 2 weeks after the part was fitted when i started the bike up on News Years Day. But again i was told the same thing it was down to a faulty part,i have been refunded for both parts but i am asking you fellow Tuono owners if you have had any such problems or have heard of such. Also if any one has any suggestion as to why this might of happened other than a Faulty Part ??.
