Two things FLAT below 4rpm and smoking when cold. Help

Hi Lads i have a 2003 rsvr. Its my 2nd rsv, its got twin wsb exhausts akrapovic with chip.
At low rev's from tick over to 5k rpm its feels flat. when it gets to 5rpm it kicks like a horse and flys. Is this common or dose it need a tune up. What do you think.
Also when i start it up on the drive it smokes from behind the side fairings and smells of oil. This lasts for a few min's then go's, I took the fairings off and their is no trace of oil anywere. do you think this could be relayted to the poor low down running. ie breather pipe. Any help please.

It could be the rear or front rocker cover seal leaking more likely the front as this is the common one that does , check from the front of the bike where the exhaust cover is behind front wheel or you can see the front of engine with the side pannel off there will be oil over the start motor area etc even check the back rocker cover while the tanks is up also . Check the rear engine breather to the airbox leftside of motor is attached also .... Running problems you can try resetting the Airbleed screws .... a starting point would be 1-1/2 to 2 turns out from in Front & 3/4's to 1 turn out from in rear & then see how it sounds & feels .. Write down where the airbleeds screws were set at to start with so if running no better then you can put them back to original position
