Lurking here in the depths of Chelmsford, Well the Widford Industrial Estate is a small motorcycle training establishment called Link Training and an associated shop called Black Cat Motorcycle Clothing.

Loitering or lurking in the workshop is MilleMille's RSV while parked out side is her partners Mille.

He is Kevin and she is Kelly, they are both instructors and very decent folks to boot.

I spent a very enjoyable Sunday performing mild surgery to Kelly's Mille, the end result was that it lives again, although it needs a few bits n bobs but essentially its all there. :doug

Kelly, thank you for the numerous cups of tea the biscuits and the company :thumbup, Kevin thankyou for letting me spend the afternoon (at times) alone with your other arf :devious

I hope it all hangs together long enough for you to enjoy the commute in the snow :pirate

oooooooooooooh Essex RSV meet at Link , how many cups have you got ?.

How goes the hunting of the bits n bobs ?

As many as you want as for bits pretty much sorted in fact i'm about to make my merry way back to brightlingsea i'll get back to you in an hour or so and let you no if i've made it. :)

Why is nothing ever simple bike has just dumped a large amount of oil all over itself and the A12 now waiting to be rescued.:-(
 
Well i'm back home minus my bike god bless kev for comeing to get me and for letting me use his bike while mine is getting sorted again my god i'm loseing patience with it, i've got a real love hate realationship with this bike.:'(
 
Ok so the next instalment in the mutley saga kev has stripped it down again and the metal oil pipe has a hole in it luckaly I have a spare from the other engine, i'll be back in chelmsford on friday so fingers crossed i'll be back on the road for the weekend.:)
 
Unfortnately I must take responsibility for that !!, I noticed that it had been ground down (looks like it had had a big slide on the left hand side at some point) and pointed it out , Kevin actually removed the good one from the spare engine......................but I failed to fit it.:dowhat

Its worth changing that oil cooler hose too as it looks pretty ropey too.


Sorry Guy's my fault for not being thorough enough :whipping
 
Mutley lives kev has replaced the oil pipe and he's been running it around today and bar there still being some oil on the back tire all seems to be ok so please keep your fingers crossed for me.;-)
