Twin pipe system on an '02 RSVR?

Hi to all you fellow RSV riders
I have to admit the following idea was instigated by my girlfriend:inlove(who is also a biker and riders a 04 Fazer 600 but don't hold that against her).
She bought me a set of '05 RSV exhausts and R&G hangers thinking they would look good on my '02 RSVR.
is there any way any one knows that i can modify my '02 exhaust system to accomodate a twin pipe system.:dunno
All ideas welcome

not sure its poss matey, I would sell them and get a twin to suit yer 02 (like some aprilia shotguns!!)

falco headers to get a 2-2 system is the cheapest way then modify cans /pipes to suit...set on ebay for 75 quid

loved the idea of the girlie buting bits for your bike though...best you leave a list of all the carbon bits you want around and see what turns up under the tree

As above Falco headers, if she just bought the cans you will need link pipes aswell :thumbup

what a lucky man all my parts come in to the house when the wife is out!!!,full akrapovic they way to go or the falco pipes.

Just one thing: Make sure the exhaust heat does not melt the plastic above it. As I remember from 2003, one I saw had the dual cans, but the elbow for the rear cylinder was too close to the existing plastic that I thought was the battery box. Reliability is king, after all.

True, but that was a different kind of twin can system to this type, so has no relevance to a twin can system using falco headers
