Twin cans on Gen 1

I guess Redratbike it come down to whether the system being used is a good design & flows well & just doesn't look pretty & of course how much time & $$$$ has being spent on getting the bike tuned perfectly ... I have gone the other way from a Dual link single to genuine Twin system with Leo-Vince Ti mufflers 60mm inlet and a 50mm outlet . Works Mint for me & my bike's state of tune perfectly ..... Go the Aprilia !

Have you got any stage by stage dyno graphs sensei?
Would really like to get my mille quicker and pulling harder, so am absorbing ideas over winter so I have a plan in summer when I have some free cash and time...
Thing is like you say yours pulls harder then that customers you service, but ,aybe yours was healthier to begin with? I`v heard these can vary as much as 10bhp out the factory due to poorly machined cam timing parts (non slotted I think I recall, so no fine adjustment possible).??

LoL my customers bike doesn't have close to 70,000ks on the clock like mine does , it is less than half that . Steve while tuning my GSXR1100 drag bike I wasted 1000's of $$$$ on Dyno runs to end up with the bike showing on paper it should be Mint but in the real world running it performed well under-par , so went back to what I know test it as you use it & go from there ..I guess the best thing to do is what I have done for the last 74 bikes I have owned just go try it & if it doesn't work move on try somehting else ... Great way to learn stuff

lol some of us biking on a budget here! Every decision must be carefully weighed up as to how beneficial it will be for the cash outlay you see....
Hence why I ask all the question then buy once if possible

Totally hear what ya saying don't get me wrong Steve even tho I could have brought a $3500 system , I prefer to make stuff or redesign it to suit ...since being a Welder / Turner this is made easy for me , hence why I went with the Falco system & with only out laying $680 it wasn't as much as some of the gear I have brought for my bike ... Eg 6k on up specing my stock Ohlins to SBK spec Ohlins ... This exhaust was the last stage to finish off my bike so this is done now I can focus on continue modifying 3 TT500's . Roll on Summer !

Just acquired a Falco collector, it has a 3" x 1 1/2" shallow dent in the left hand link pipe area, I am guessing either Ive been sold a damaged one or its clearance for the side stand, can anyone confirm either way

One off custom built TTX36 rear shocks dont come cheap $3000...none made for RSVMilles so had to get my Ohlins guy to make me one .. Total rebuild front forks with Mid valve bending shim stack , Big Port compression & rebound pistons modified needles to suit as is the CST oil I prefer to use .... all of this takes time & $$$$ to get right , Is it worth it ?? Yea adds up to 3000ks to tyres , are able to change compression /rebound /preload on my rear shock while riding along .. Able to set bike up quickly when at Drag meets , Where I use this bike is not your normal type of roads very twisty & bumping back roads at high speeds with afew mates with 1098 Streetfighters , 999 Ducatis, 09 GSXR 750 / 1000's so having perfect suspension is what keeps me & the bike on the road while doing this , This is my thing taking a sweet bike & customizing it to the best I can .. LOL diposable income plenty left from the 80's " Yea Baby Yea " . Track racing never did much for me when I did it so don't waste my time with it ... Find racing my Vintage MX bike more fun as is riding my other 2 TT500's
