Twin can conversion....again!!

Evening guys,

I've been toying with the idea of a twin can set up on my Mille for a while now but the thought of cutting the lower fairing has put me off. Since i now own the Tuono (with no fairing to cut) it's rekindled my desire to try it!!

So....... can any of you lovely gents/ladies out there tell me if there is such a thing on the market as a 1 into 2 link pipe that i can add to the original headers of the Tuono??????

I really fancy Legs single Arrow can but think i'll miss that unfortunately so got me thinkin about the twin set up again!!

Would a Corser/Hag rep link pipe do for instance????

The Haga/Edwards rep isn't a link pipe i'm afraid Andi. The 2-2 is created via the headers and not a link pipe section. Your cheapest way as ever are Falco headers and cans. Happy hunting :thumbup
 
renegade did a 1 into 2 I believe Bud & there is another type but can't for the life of me remember?! But as Cat says falco headers are cheapish but the cans are always hellishly expensive.

There is also a company on ebay at the moment doing a 1-2 in the style of Renegade and Gianelli. £425 from memory.

The trick with cans is to look up the inlet (link pipe) diameter and then go from there. Early R6 cans fit early Mille's for example ;)
 
been watching that one Doc - very interesting but no good for me co's my welding skills are non-existant. I've tried gas welding and arc welding and let me tell ya.............. it wasn't pretty and it didn't hold for long :roll

Thanks alot guys, great stuff!! Would definately prefer to keep original headers and go for a 1-2 sort of deal!!

Funny you should mention the cans thing Cat as that's what got me thinkin about it as there are a few cans on the bay at the moment with 50mm inlets!!!!

then you need the modified exhaust collector i'll doing on an exchange basis in a couple of weeks to add a bit more power:thumbup
