Tuono vs CB1000R..

don´t ask me - I was riding the black T infront of him, not the CB1000R ;)

I used to own a CB1000R, it was an excellent bike, reliable, fast, loads of low to mid range grunt, and it handled well, the problem with the CB1000R is the Tuono 1000 R, which is faster, got more grunt, handles better, and so far reliable, even though the CB1000R is a newer design the Tuono beats it hands down, in every department, no comparison really, here's a couple of pics.

Did the same earlier this year, didn't make 15 miles, barely made a couple before I gave in and took it back ... sooo boring

I read a tech report in one of them pieces of **** that cost £3.??. They'de stuck the H on a dyno and it turned oot it wid perform best between 40-60% throttle openings.
Kind of says it all.
Nice bike though, apart fae the front and the exhaust, feck am stumblin again.

Der yer wanna a shot o ma muckers tricked oot blade?

ahm jist nae a big fan o the Hondas A min...ah fully acknowledge that thir is some great machinery oot there but none o it has appealled tae me to date.
(although ah must admit tae a wee dabble wi a Pan fur 6 months a few years a go...oh ...an way way back had a GL1100Goldwing fur a spell tae....guess that must be why ah equate Honda=bland...ah wiz ridin awe the rang type o things:thumbup

the truth is, that tuono has complete different potencial than CB1000R. I didn´t ride on full throttle, because my friend wants to have me on the cam - you can see on the video, that I am all the time turning my head or waving on him to see, if he is close enough..

But honestly - my friends on cb1000r, who were there with me, they have had an easy job passing the curves on Passo del Stelvio.. They just put on 2nd gear and were done :D :D :D I had to shift all the time - but it was fun!!!! ;)
