Sold to me in good faith i believe but since fiting, it does not feel as responsive in the low to mid range. Do i need the race ecu to get it running to its full potential? Or a remap of some kind.

yes remap needed or race ecu, did you not read the replies dave? see geoff hilltop or ring wallasy motorcycles for "race" ecu, youll need guzzidiag to do the learning!!

otherwise put the restrictor in the exhaust!!

Hi Dave
I ran with the baffle in as it did not make much difference in noise in my opinion, I never had to remap mine with it in. And thanks 4vr for pointing dave in the right direction.

Hi v4r, to be fair the replies where a bit cryptic lol, I have not long purchased the bike so don't know the ins and outs as it were but I did check the Scorpian site for info before I went ahead with the payment and it did say no race map required :dunno. I am running it with the db killer in and it feels flat compared to the standard pipe( I have not tried it without yet) struggles to get the front up in 2nd lol, don't need awc at for sure. I do take my bikes to Geoff at Hilltop for mot's but for a remap I just don't think he is all that tbh which is why I asked in the other thread. The Gabro option sounds tried and tested, if only they would reply to the email. Geoff wanted £350 when I asked him. btw I am in no way pissed about buying the pipe as it does look nice, its the point of where to go now as to getting the bike mapped correctly to suit the pipe that I have that need sorting.

i had mine done there, i told him i dont redline my bike, i told him to make it a road tune, he managed to give me a 17hp bump @8k just where i wanted it, he smoothed the on/off transition, i was very happy,, had a race ecu next, and wished it never sold my reflashed ecu, so smooth compared to race one, dont get me wrong race one was good and the qs was better, very lumpy down low, i had done the -1 on the front as well!!

There have been many posts about him on various sites of him fudging the initial numbers to make his maps look alot better than they actualy are. As long as your where happy is all that counts :cheers
