Surely this can't be right, were the Italians having a bad day when they wired up my main beam switch? When I switch to main beam the two outer lights go out and the centre comes on. When I press pass all three are on. This must be oposite to what's intended.

I am thinking this is there intention. Mine also does the same thing. Would be so much better with all three lights on. Shouldn't be to hard for an auto electrican to sort out.

Good to know it's not just me but it does seem odd. Have you done much riding at night? I don't think the single light on its own is much good, you loose all visibility of the road surface. I think I'll have a go at changing mine, I took the switchgear apart on my last Tuono and it was ok. Only downside is maybe a high load on the alternator.

Having owned an Aprilia for the best part of 6 years I'm not sure I'd trust the electrics to handle 3 lights at the one time for any amount time.

Might try and fit a massive LED to the centre as it's only 35 watts. Bought 2 for my 2011 tuono but rear body of bulb was way too big to fit behind fork legs.
