Tuono To Mille Conversion

Hi Guys

I just wanted to know if anybody can tell me if it is possible to convert a standard 2003 Tuono to a Mille. What changes do I need to make to the forks, and are there any other MAJOR parts that I would need ??
I already have most of the fairings and fasteners from a 2002 mille so I just need to know if there is anything big that I need.
I want to do this conversion because I prefer the riding position and look of the Mille, not that there's nothing wrong with the look of the standard Tuono though.
Why didn't I buy a Mille in the first place you might think ?? - Because the Tuono was going VERY cheap and I couldn't resist lol.

I would be interested in some of your tuono parts if your selling?

Yep I will be selling them on here but only when I've sourced all of the remaining bits I need for the conversion, I'll keep ya posted.....

Maybe we could do a swap as I've converted my Mille to tuono. I still have all parts. It's from a mint 1999 model but think most of the bits fit

Thanks for the offer mate, I'am looking out for some specific 2002 parts though, I still haven't got the left hand side main fairing yet but I have got the right hand side one from an 02 Mille and both left and right infill pieces but I ain't got
the left or right hand side air ducts yet - I need both complete units - inner and outer parts, mesh and funnels and some more fasteners....

Thanks for that mate, no I don't have the yokes or the clipons, I'am not sure exactly which parts I need to replace on the forks apart from the clipons, I know that the brake lines need to be shorter thats about it.
The fairing I'am after is one from a later Mille, the early ones seem to have that tube sticking out from the middle of the fairing, where as the later ones have a more clean cut out, if that makes any sense ?? lol.

Let me know if your interested. From my experience the front fairing and lights are different. All other fairing should fit. Side fairings fit but may have different styles.

The belly pan it the same. I have the later side fairing but no inners. They where for trackdays but not cracked of damaged. If your repaying they are fine. If you need them you can have them cheap as not needed.

I have the standard brake and clutch lines along with all the nuts and bolts

Thanks mate, I might be interested in the side fairings as spares, any idea where I can get those inners - are they easy to get hold off ??

.....Oh by the way, will the Mille front fairing and headlight etc fit onto my Tuono front subframe or do I need something completely different ??

The headlight in the tuono will fit 01-03 so you will be fine.

Below that have different fairing and headlight
 
Hey guys fingers crossed that you guys still on here, did you complete the tuono mile conversion in end. I am contemplating doing the same. I got the last of the tuono r 2005 model love it but prefer the mille riding position. Let me know how you got on. Cheers
