So in the end I found A T Factory 2007 in England and will go pick er' up in two weeks time.Gotta change out the headlamps and put in Euro spec lights but that was going to cost me the better half of 400 GBP.Found some head lamps through ebay germany through the help of the guys at AF1 racing and by the way ebay germany has a bucket full of parts ( use Google Translate and cut and paste german onto your translater).

So the question to youz is if I held on and sold the headlamps to any one of youz guys or ebay.uk what could I fetch for em'.The bike owner is giving me 100 quid off the price and keeping the lamps but I reckon I could get 250+ GBP.What say youz????

Thanks weeksy, called the shop with the ebay article and they reckon they can get 300 GBP so that answers that.

I'm a little confused with this "Euro spec lights" - what exactly is this ?
I bought my Tuono in the UK and as far as I know the headlights are the same in the UK and Portugal. Am I wrong ?

Your wrong.Euro spec lights are legal in europe and usa.UK spec lights are legal in OZ, NZ, Japan and UK as the light is specific to which side of the road and what angle the beam of light is directed to.You are legal to drive your UK bike any where in the world however you cannot register it in a country that drives on thr "other" side of da road.I live in Switzerland so I gotta change out the lamps. Simples!

Techincally speaking, when we leave the UK on our bikes we 'should' fit a sticker kit on the headlights which simulates pointing the correct direction for our EU counterparts.

In reality, none of us do :)

Now there's something I didn't know.
So the solution in my case ( and jay's ) is changing the lamps? Is there no adjusting in the headlight focus ?

Do the Tuono headlights have a "side" on dip.
I have never noticed - quite a few bikes have flat dip beams these days to avoid the above?

Just answered my own question, UK & EU headlights are listed with separate part no's

I browsed the manual and there are adjustment screws that allow pointing the lights up or down.
I'm going to lower mine and not worry about it anymore.
