happy new year to you all.

Ok had a bit of spare time so did a bit more to the T project.

Came across a couple of problems,,,, 1, front wheel, when tightened one of the calipers is catching the disc its like the wheel is sitting off set, the wheel, spindle and spacer are replacement parts. its like the spacer is to wide and the wheel needs to move over about 5mm.

The other is the front headlight wiring there are 2 main white electrical plugs are these meant to have headlight relays in ??

cheers for any replys R101

What model T?:dunno
Have you got the spindle in the forks correctly?(Nut should be on the r/h side.)

Hi Keith its an 2006 with Radial calipers, The spindle will only fit the 1 way wont it ?

Ok,have you got the spacer in the right way round.(I think it will only go in one way.)The shouldered part should be on the outside.
What about the discs,....have they been replaced? If so,where they fitted the right way round?(Arrow on the disc should point the same way as the arrow on the wheel rim)

All in and on the right way, I think the the wheel might be off an early model which i think are slightly different. Does anyone know how i can check if the wheel is a gen 1 or 2 ?.

Can anyone have a look to see what the 2 white multi plugs connect to at the front end.

cheers

Gen1 wheels are 5 spoke, while the Gen2 spokes are 'snowflake' pattern. That might explain things,as I'm pretty sure the Tuoldo wheels have different spacings for the discs.(non radial brakes)
White connectors are for lighting relays.

Thanks Keith now im confused my wheels are the snow flake type ?? i have tried spacing the discs out and they do clear ?.
With regards to the headlight relays i thought that but i have got relays under the rear seat panel that are meant to be headlight/starter relays ?

Sounds like the discs have the wrong offset,.....are they replacements?Offset should be 10mm.
The relays under the rear seat are for the injection and cooling fan.

GenI & GenII front wheels are not interchangable...the disc mount offset is different.

Spacers are availabe fron AF1 should you wish to do this.
