Tuono Immobiliser details for insurance renewal?

Hi all,

It's insurance renewal time for me and one question I keep getting asked is proof of what type of immobiliser system is fitted to my '09 Factory?

I'm told that it's Aprilia's equivalent of the Datatool series 4 (?) but I need to tell the insurance company what it is for definite (and possibly have proof)

Can anyone help please?

Tell them its factory fitted, that should do them. Mine is a datatool, don't know what model, but they were happy with that

Yep,tell 'em its a factory fitted imobilizer.Its usually the aftermarket alarms/imobilizers that need a certificate.If they insist on seeing some paperwork,photocopy page 47 of your handbook.Its got a brief description of the system.

Just bought 2013 tuono v4 and trying to insure it. Came across the question from Benetts which factory fitted immobiliser do you have, it will either be meta or datatool as these are the ones Aprilia use. So phoned Fowlers and they couldn't help me, any one got any ideas? Thanks.
