Tuono First Service

I've just recently had a Tuono and the dealer has told me the first service is not included in the price and I have been told it is about £200.00 for the first service as it's about a four hour job as valve clearances need to be done etc

Does this sound about right or is someone having my pants down?

Please help guys.

Hello marra!
I think it depends on which dealer you use. A few folk on here and other Aprilia forums have had to pay for the first service. Seems a bit bloody mean to me. You've just spent roughly £8k on a new bike and then they want another couple of hundred for a 600 miles service.
My local dealer (Dave Milling) charged me £35 - the price of the oil. Seemed like a reasonable deal to me. Encourages people to go back for further servicing and other new shiny bits.

Cheers,

Ciderdrinker.

My dealer did the first service and it didn't include valve clearances etc, that was on the 20K service. And yes, I paid for all services. Just because you buy an exotic Italian beauty doesn't mean that the dealer doesn't want to keep raping you after you buy it.
