Seeing as you all seemed to like the pictures of the Scottish Borders scenery, here's part 2 of the same trip, completed the next day.

This run started in Moffat via Thornhill, Dumfries, Carlisle, Eskdalemuir, Selkirk and Yarrow Valley back to Moffat.

Here's some views along the way:-

1. The road from Moffat down a deep valley to Thornhill, great open bends and grippy blacktop, had to be on the lookout for wandering sheep and the odd logging lorry though!

2.Views looking from the bottom of the valley floor, and the sun had got his hat on too!

3. Pit stop for lunch overlooking the River Esk, watching one man and his dog herding sheep!

4. Bit of a surprise this discovery - you just don't expect to stumble across a full blown Tibetan Retreat deep in the Scottish Borders do you? Tuono looks on, not impressed by the scene!

5. The home leg back to Moffat along the Yarrow Valley, and the heavens opened - oh well, only got wet the last 10 mles, so can't complain!

Hope you enjoy the virtual ride as much as I did the real thing!

Nice pics, fantastic scenery!
What happened to the higher screen from 'run 1' and I like the tax disc!!:lol

Super roads/piccies - envy the roads and scenery! Have now done 140 miles on mine and it seems to be doing about 30 mpg! Hope there's plenty of petrol stations up there?

Well spotted - I was just running the standard screen to compare to the Puig, the differences are:-
1. Cosmetically the Puig wins, makes the bike look much better at the front IMO,
2. Puig gives more protection from the elements,
3. You can tuck down behind it when "going for it"

However, my main concern was wind noise, as the Puig deflects the wind up around your helmet making things noisier! But the difference in noise is neglible, so the PUIG Screen is back on!

With regard to the TaxDisc - still awaited from supplying dealer, it's "in the post officer" ha,ha!

Hey Rob, I totally agree with all of that! But wind noise doesn't bother me even though I'm 6'6 tall and stick up above everything, because I use good ole earplugs with the loud EVO6 I'm using. The Puig is a beautiful WS compared to all the other I've tried. Powerbronze, Laminar Lip etc. I have the dark smoke and it looks so good. I'll post up a shot later.
