Hi all,

I'm looking for a fun bike but to also to use as an all year long commuter (main use), I live in UK so winters can be quite wet . I think one of these will really suit me (currently commuting on a ZX6R), I really need a more comfortable riding position for daily use, want a bit more power for the summer weekend days, I am also looking at Honda CB1000R but turned off by the fact that Honda detuned the blades engine for it.

Any advice on these bikes in general, what I should be looking for?

How do these bikes fair up during the wet salty winter roads?

I have found one cheap low miles 10k but has a Cat N (Im not immediately put off by this) Was wondering if anyone can provide the bikes standard measurements so i can measure wheel base etc to make sure nothing is bent.

Many thanks Greg

I rode mine to work every day for 2 years without a single problem as long as you keep it clean. As soon as I started using it as an occasional bike, like all Italian bikes it begun to play up. So make sure you ride it regularly. My average round trip per day was 85 miles so it was well used.

awesome thanks :)

any particular areas on the bike which usually fail I should be looking at?
