Tuoldo - opinions on parts please

Afternoon all,

I have been searching around trying to find chain and sprockets, and an exhaust for my 03 tuoldo.

anyone got any experience, or opinions of the following chain and sprox kit. (not too fussed about the colour, will be bllack and gungy after 5 mins of riding)

Im guessing the only downside will be the aluminium rear sprockets lifespan..

and anyone got any views on fuel exhausts?

Tom go for MTC exhausts. About the same price. Give the guys a ring. They'll do different lengths for you and the service was impecable. I've got one on mine and the sound unbaffled is great. Loud as but not intrusive. Come highly recommended.
 
You should be fine with that chain/sprocket combo.Talon make some of the best sprox out there and theres nowt wrong with DID chains either.
 
cheers keith, thats what i needed to hear. am used to just buying the standard manufacturer reccommended packs, so i have been in a little bit of a quandry.

will get them ordered.
 
Get that exhaust ordered as well and ring em up. For 150 smackers u can't go wrong and I paid that much as I have a black bike. The stainless steel option is cheaper.
 
Fella look at the pic I posted when I put mine on. I reckon that looks a big exhaust. Personally I'd go for a smaller one. Saw gilos mivvs and liked the look. Mines a bit bigger and cheaper than the titanium one. Just take a look. Mtc are great company though

Yep, hear what your saying. Just mooching about, i think they are about 350mm long which if i am right is about the same length as one of their ovals. Will give them a call tomorrow and find out. But having said that I fancy something a bit different...

The sound is awesome from it. Turns heads. Not sure what the bigger oval one would sound like. Titanium is meant to be lighter but that looks an awesome big pipe.

Am hoping for a nice deep burble. Found a video of a hyusong, of all things, which sounds goooood. This being an iPad I can't post the link... Search YouTube for hyusong mtc.
 
bit of both... ordered the race instead of road legal.... (****) so had a little chat... its all gonna be good
 
Doh. I quite like the look of mine. Scratched it a bit when I put it on but it'll rub out with some T cut and u can't notice it really. Like the look of the black un on mine though which is why I went for it. Would definitely deal with the firm again
 
It does look good. Suits the bike. I just sold another bike and would have quite happily bought a stainless oval but nooooo someone had to bring up MTC:thumbup and the other half just had to talk me into treating myself...

Looking forward to it, just hope it looks and sounds good. And yeah were good to deal with, wasn't even any piss taking over my numptyness
 
it has arrived, so fitting this weekend all being well. Gotta say that is a top service considering i only ordered it on tuesday!
