Forgot to mention Iam heading back home on the 25th may from liverpool riding a GS BMW Manx reg yellowish and not been on the Island for 8 months. So I still have the UK 100mph max in my head.
Why go ot the TT without a bike? Most of the locals, well a few, wont use the bike over TT. Its the slowest that you will go over the mountain and seems to be constantly closed due to someone running outa tallent.
I've been with a bike before, this time me and a pal are going and he dosnt do road biking only off road so were going to get pished and drewl over bikes
Im going but taking the car, its my daughters first birthday on 28th, Caly is a Manx name and she will be going every year for a birthday holiday ha ha If you see a Red Alfa 156 Sportwagon with a " Think bike " sticker in the back window give us a wave. And please be safe lads n lasses nobody likes sitting at Ramsey waiting for the mountain to reopen after a biff has washed out the front end and cartwheeled all the way into the green stuff, I see it every year and to be honest its gonna be the only thing that ruins this amazing race meeting, how long do you think the old bill will be happy about sweeping up after us. Think on......

There is a little access road that takes you up to the Gooseneck, its awesome veiwing you see em cracking in from Waterworks and into the gooseneck, there is a little burger van than there and a kinda bike park ( field ) you def need a stand puck !!! you need to look for as little tiny road that will be on your right as you leave Ramsey on the coast road.
And also if you get up to Creg ny baa before the roads close or if not you can get there on a back road from Laxey on the coast, its pretty good if you walk down the field away from the pub towards Brandish you get a wicked view as they come over from Kates cottage down into the Creg and then on the power down towards Brandish, you can sit right on the bank there. Again a farmer has a BBQ on and its good grub at a good price.

Yeah update directions for Gooseneck. if you leave Ramsey on the A2 coast road heading back to Douglas you go up thru the trees up hill you come across a nice left hander and then come out into the open and after a bend you come out onto a straight its only about a mile and a bit out of town, you will see a little road that on your right with a big house with a red roof you need to be up there, keep following it for about a mile heading towards the side of the mountain after a while you will see bikes parked up all over the show, if you keep going you will come to the bike park right up by the gooseneck.

cheers ..sat up by the footbridge opposite Joeys memorial the other year,hillbury looking into guy martins eyes a few feet away
and the church just around from quarter bridge(great food) ...fancy rhencullen as well as they look a fast set of bends...so many places to watch from its unreal
