Hello all, currently riding a Thruxton but am starting to explore the idea of a touring bike. The Caponord is one that I am interested in. I will ride the Thrux this summer but if all looks good I will likely trade it next year.

Hi stoanee, If your legs are long enough for a Caponord......you will be amazed!

I have kept my Ohlin's equipped Blackbird, but the Aprilia has captivated me bigtime! It might not have the numbers like a Multistrada (horsepower etc) but it has plenty of mumbo and is really comfortable! I think a few Ducati riders here in Aus are secretly admiring it's comfort and capabilities. I just noticed how turbine smooth it was last weekend while out in the country - 6th gear at 4200rpm...(about 115 true speed...125 on lying speedo)! Don't believe me? wait till you've run your's in and you'll see... a twin can be smoother than a four! I'm getting the 16 tooth sprocket installed tomorrow so the gearing will be more normal, and 3rd gear will be usable around town in 60k/hr zones.....but what a great machine! I am well satisfied with this beautiful thing...ADD and all.
