Hey guys, I went a ride to Willingham woods bike meet (in the rain) Wed night, A stunning V4 T was there. I havent seen one in the flesh before. Wow they are the dogs. I thought when I saw one I would be mildly impressed, my gen 1 still looks cool... But OMG, I want one so fookin bad. So small and mean looking.... Enjoy, you lucky V4 owners.. fD..:thumbup

Still not seen one in the flesh, and if the front projects anythin like the gen1's conkle yer can keep it.

So small and mean looking....

yes pal... mean looking machine........

but.. seen it, sat on it.. not fer me.

never ridden one, i may think different after that, but dont think so..

when you ride a proper twin its fer a reason.. or i,d have bought a vfr years ago.

Yer dead right g, it maybe an Aprilia and it's cried Tuono and it's technical specifications are feckin fabby.

It's a totally different machine in every way.

Each to their own, A love all ma machines in different ways and since a bought ma V2 T, it's the only road bike a want to strut ma **** on.

No doubt if a had bottomless pockets and plenty room A'd have one cause yer cannae see the hooter's projection when yer eyes huv a thousand yard stare.

Gob smacked

I must say, the sound didn't do it for me. The old girl souded better.
hI fighterdaz
that would be my bike you saw at willingham woods m8,you need to try one m8 they out do the old v2 in all ways i used to have one, ave a word next time you there m8.

As it stands right now my next bike will be a V4T. We're talking 2 or 3 years away.

Thing is, I'm pretty sure if I ever sell my Gen 2 I'm going to regret it for the rest of my days.

So when the time comes when shiny shiny new bike lust takes over, if finances permit (not a shoo-in by any means), I hope to buy a new bike AND keep my V2T.

ah test rode one FighterDud loon......its a dinky wee thing richt enough but definitely goes......the one ah rode had the Akra can on an the soundtrack when ye razzed it was aural ****.....jist the berries.

Handled very well, felt much lighter tae chuck aboot than the Gen2...ah never tried tae test the lecky gizmos cos ah wiz feart o the thing as it wiz goin fast enough as it wiz......liked it but nae enough tae ditch ma Gen2 T......

We'll mibbe reconsider if the kosher Factory V4 ever appears tho.

Aye rmin, 'ave still no seen one in the flesh mucker.

Tae my wae of thinkin the v4t/v2t can't be compared, jist cause they've got Aprilia on the tank and they're both cried Tuono.

If yer intae V2s then the V4s are gonae be a different kettle of fish, it's the whole package of ma machine that I love. (gen2 factory).

Not that it carries this or that badge.

For those fuds that keep multiple machines, yer'll know whit am gibberin aboot.

Tell me, what can be better than a big thumping v twin with booming cans on razzing round all them mountains and lochs up in Jockland ? I can't think of owt :no
