Hey lads any issues i know about before connecting my trickle charger.I presume,i have one on my RSV Factory for the last 9 years and no problem.But i only have the bike 10 days and dont need to encounter any issues.
I fitted a small inline fuse link in the battery fly lead and a waterproof socket just as a safeguard like .
no probs with it so far , and the the bike is plugged in at all times when sat in garage .

I've got mine connected up in the garage, but it's through a timer, on for 2hours twice a week, I've heard of too many failures with fried batteries and one exploded battery to leave it on permanent and unattended
My bikes have always been connected to trickle charger while in the garage, I have never switched it off, it does its own testing from time to time & shows 2 green lights when all is normal, it doesn't charge if no charge is needed & if there's a battery problem it shows a red light, OptiMate 111, brilliant bit of kit

The battery that died was not on the tuono on a Buell and had been on trickle for probably 2 years
