I have seen problems about transfers on the tuono but this weekend decided to replace the lifting clear sticky paint protection dots I put on last year which were looking old.......1st one which was actually lifting up was located on the red graphic sticker part on the tank near the back of the tank..It came off easy but caused a f***g bubble in the transfer!!!! thanks Aprilia again for such great quality.....

No idea how to get this out. It appears to have pulled the red graphic off the tank with the laquer..It not split but you can push the bubble about.. put another dot on top which to be honest has covered up the issue up but the new clear dot is lifting again (think old stock)...has anyone else had this? & shall I just leave it before doing more damage!! as it usually goes.

One thing I will add never going to tackle the paint protector film I put on!!

Only a suggestion mate but if you need to get the dot off try warming with a hair dryer this should soften the glue and make it easier to lift, as for the bubble if you pierce it with the point of a scalpel or a needle then gently warm again this will maybe help with the glue on the graphic and keep the laquer flexible, you should then be able to push the air out of the bubble without the risk of lifting more laquer and hopefully the graphic will still have enough stick to hold it down on the tank.

Had a similar problem on tank graphics where lacquer had come off, so had them replaced with these:

Thanks chaps for the advice going to be careful as next I can see the laquer coming off. Worried about getting a crease when getting the bubble out. Just got some new sticky dots going to see if they are better than the last lot.

Just one thing if you pierced the bubble in the laquer to get the air out or if you think there may be a split in the laquer, don't put WD-40 on it at you may end up with a bubble full of WD and remove the glue from behind the factory transfer.
