doing trackday donnington tuesday any info on tyre pressures maxxi, and suspension settings rsv 02 upright bar conversion done cheers dave

Set your pressures at around 32 cold go out first session then drop them down too 29-30 and see how it feels but to be honest it depends on the tyres and how much stick you give them as for the sussies id take it to sombody that knows there **** when it comes to setup a well set up mille is like a new bike, it should cost about £30 it'll be the best thirty squid you'll spend ,hope the weather stays good for you m8...

As Bryan says bud, go out on about 32 front 30 rear and see how it feels......the rear will (obviously) heat up a fair bit when your ragging it!!! Give it plenty!!

I always just get the tire guys to set them when I arrive. For two reasons.
a) thats all they do. Tell them yrou riding group, the tire you have, the bike your riding and they will know off the top of their head what pressures you should run taking to account track temp etc etc. b) They have proper gauges, and it will be spot on. Last trackday I did on the R6 I used my mates gauge. After the day I went to a garage to put road pressure back in them. HAD TO LET THEM DOWN! Been riding with 36cold in the front! No wonder it felt twitchy all day, (thought there was something wrong with bike)

Dont worry about it, turn up and let them do it ;) they dont charge.

As for suzzies. Just set your sag, and make sure damping is standard when you start and change it for your needs. Too soft on the way in, more F comp, takes to long to settle more front reb, etc etc. Look up videos of Dave moss on youtube, he`s a suspension guy, makes it pretty simple. In my experience factory damping settings are in the ball park for most bikes, just need slight adjustment as you push the limits. Have fun!
