ok guys n galls, done a track day at oulton yesterday..omg wot a circuit and the mille was far better than me, so stable and how much grunt...anyway..

come flying into the hizzy chicane on the brakes down two cogs off the brakes n the bike takes off at a pant soiling pace..dont even try to make the corner n the engine is bouncing off the rev limiter..throttle tube is closed..hit the kill switch fire it back up all's well again, same thing hapened everytime i pinned it at ful throttle, part throttle was fine 3/4 fine, only when it was on the stops..spend the last 2 sessions short shifting everywhere n crossing fingers

Any ideas, throttle tube is snapping back fine, cables are fine..just dont fancy this happening on the road n joining the sheep in a field somewhere..

cheers guys

Could be those butterfly flap thingies :dunno on the TB's sticking open. have you checked it's all clean and cable etc lubed up :dunno

Sounds like the throttle mechanism (throttle body end)is over extending and sticking, mine did that till I stripped and cleaned it all (I used sewing machine oil)

Check the throttle tube is not fouling the bar end weight, i have experienced that before and had to trim it back a bit. It does not sound like that though, not sure where to point you on that one:dunno

was thinking butterflies, will check n clean everything up, checked with the tank off at the track n they seemed to snap back ok, will post some pics up if i can remember how..:thumbup..thanks guys
