Thought I would add a couple of photos. There will soon be a number on the bike as I have just obtained my race licence, #181.:biggrin

I will be doing the 3 hour endurance race on the 27th December with Peter Tanner (www.teamapriliaracing.com) as riding partner, but we will be on his bike which will by then be 1060 kitted with big valves and ported heads!

Whoooo Hooo. Well done mate, When the race bug bites it bites deep !!

So will we see you as a Shaun/Bruce replacement on the IOM TT soon ?

Shame they still dont run the old 6 hour endurance races down at Teratonga, they were fun

:biggrin No kiwi I won't be the replacement for Shawn or Bruce, too old and slow. I will be doing most of my racing at Taupo, I'm sure you know that they upgraded the track a couple of years ago. There is also a new track at Hampton Downs, so will also race there no doubt:thumbup Gee a 3 hour race, all be it half the race will be an effort let alone 6 hours. Will get some races in well before the 3 hour. I can tell you are from the South Island!:biggrin

Yup raced an FJ1100 and a VFR750 and GSX1100E at various times

Let me see the FJ was heavy, slow & reliable, the VF blew up everywhere and the GSX tried to kill me everytime I rode it !!

Oh yes a South Islander for sure, Teratonga,Levels,Ruapuna, **** Wigram and when money permitted Pukekohe & Manfield and of course Wanganui every boxing day , well 3 years of boxing days until a slight argument with a wall a hay bale and a KZ750H3..........

No such thing as being too slow or too old ....................Im the fastest middle aged tub o lard to wobble around Brands you could ever meet irate

Your air ducts are stil originals?

Im having trouble finding if anybody even makes a fibre copy.

Nice pictures:thumbup, kinda makes wanna keep my rsv and forget about the newer one.

:biggrinCheers Dollenc, If you are looking for carbon fibre body parts check out www.rsvr.net they have heaps of stuff for sale.
Yes they are the standard air intakes but I have added the Colin Edwards ram air tubes inside them.:doug

Im just looking for anykind of replacement, becaus the originals tend to crack when the bikes hits the ground and every aprilia I see, they all use originals, or one piece fibre body.

Well gues Ill have to keep searching, I have found these, its cheap for carbon, but both combined cost more than my entire bodywork

Keep the pictures coming, its always nice to look at trackdays pictures.
