Hey,has anyone tried out the Dunlop KR108 N-Tec slick rear tyres on the track? Has anyone tried the 95 compound front brake pads called Performance Friction from Carbon Metallic House in England?:dunno

2CT's have been out for a while,

I stick to Pirelli Diablo Corsa's, last long enough and stick well on road and track.

Haven't used Michelins on the track bike, only the road bike, Pilot powers, weren't that keen on them and I hate paying over that kind of cash for something that I find I don't really like.
Did a track day the other week and used the Dunlop KR106 front & KR108 Ntec rear and also the new brake pads for the first time. The track and the weather was to cold to get the best out of them, but they feel really good.
Definitely need tyre warmers on them as the Ntec rear is a low pressure 18-19psi cold tyre and would not heat up enough to bring the pressure up.
With tyre warmers they felt great, but with out the rear felt like it had a puncture. Can't wait for warm weather and good track conditions.
That is one tricked out TLR Angelo1000r, I see that you really like the colour yellow.
I agree with you V-senna, the Pirellis are good, last tyres I had on the track bike were Diablo Supercoarsa SC2's and they worked very well, gave a good level of confidance and I got about 110 laps out of them.:thumbup

Yep! i do love that TLR, it's at Cooper Performance outside of Atlanta right now getting +2mm pistons, carilo rods, crogenic frozen crank, and a custom nitrous kit with a NOS delayer system, "this is no *********" she will make around 200+rwhp "at the rear wheel" on the nitrous, just a little 50-60 shot.

it's funny, i seen my new aprilia for sale, and i couldn't pass it up, not for what i paid for it! and now i'm a TLR & RSV V-Twin Man! hey check out my thread on the 56mm T.B. form Amann racing, that C.F. 57mm air-box is no longer availible in the U.S. ?

Very cool, nothing like a pair of evil twins.:doug
I think you have too much spare cash, you better send some to me so I can buy a new V4 aprilia when they are available.:thumbup

Yep! Cryogenics is the process of freezing the metal down to -300, and then slowly to begin to bring it back to room temp "that's the secret part" it aligns the molecules in the metal for around 30% increase in strength. You can get it done in the states pretty cheap, a standard V-Twin crank will cost around 50.00-150.00 U.S.D. and that’s not bad for a 30% stronger crank. All the Big Race shop do it, it’s also there little secret, the shop where my bike is, builds 500-650hp Hayabusa’s , and all the big road race teams have been doing it as well, that’s how people build these super fast “Stock” bike with just pistons and cam’s, and turn a insane RPM, or a reeling big nitrous shot on a stock motor, Yeah right! “A Completely Cryo motor”

:thumbup I remember hearing about it when I was in Daytona and how the molecules in the metal settle together more comfortably so to speak. Rumours that a whole engine that had been cryogenically treated outperforms a standard engine not only in performance terms but also in mpg and longevity.

I found it funny that finally the states have an alternative reason for cryongenics that doesn't involve freezing people in the hope that someday someone will figure out how to bring them back to life :laugh

Be interesting to see the developments in cryogenically treated engines for the future. Good luck with both of your projects sir! :thumbup p.s that open injection set up scares the living daylights out of me  :lol
