hello, this is my first post. just bought a 2003 mille r and spooned fresh rubber on the wheels. my bike came without an owners manual, but i wanna ride it today. anyone have the mille r torque specs for the front and rear wheels? i know the pinch bolts and axle bolt for the front will be different on the r model due to the ohlins. cannot find the specs anywhere online and am typing from my buddy's garage.

Do a search on the forum mate there was something on this a while back. The Ohlins torques are quite important to get right and very susceptible to crack if you overdo them.

Welcome to the zone btw :thumbup

Thanks for the suggestion, but I already had. There is not anything I can find, anywhere online, or in the forum, with the specs on the axles and pinch bolts and calipers. I'm going to dig through my boxes of extras and see if anything is in there. Just talked to the old owner and he said it should be there.

Front wheel nut = 59 ftlbs
Rear wheel nut = 88.5 ftlbs

Front fork pinch bolts = 8.8ftlbs for ohlins
= 18.2ftlbs for showa

Thanks All

I think that will do it. Much appreciated--I knew the pinch bolt specs were problematic, and I'd heard the axle torques could be way different with the alloys, too. Thanks tons. -Jason
