Alright guys,

Can someone out there give me the correct rear spindle nut torque setting please??

Ta.....................:thumbup

I believe the original torque setting was 120Nm, but that was thought to have been giving undue axial load to the rear hub & carrier bearings, therefore a figure of 90 - 100Nm was revised. Can anyone confirm the above?
I have always set mine @ 95Nm with no ill effect.
My Haynes manual (printed in 2005 for the 98' to 03' models) also states a torque setting of 90 - 100Nm for rear spindle nut.

can't seem to find info to back you up AusRSV but it rings a bell, ive also got mine set to 95Nm with no problems. Maybe Griff can shed some light on it?

always go to the recomended tourqe setting tourqe to much and you could be sorry there there for a reason i do bus wheels most days u give it that little bit extra and bang there snaps a stud that goes for any not or bolt be warned.
to much thinking can get you into a lot of trouble.
