Has anyone got a top Yoke conversion fitted to a Mille? My rsv is killing my back as I'm pretty short and carry a pillion. Was thinking possible converting top yoke depending on the cost.

The easy option would be tuono yokes an bars if they fit???

I've had a look about the net and it seems the so called comfort kits are pretty crap by all accounts. Any got a positive story?

Cheers :biggrin
Lovin the new riding position, wish I'd converted it years ago. BTW found it handles alot better with three rings showing on the Ohlins instead of the standard 4.

i managed to get my bars and risers as a set for £40, which was pretty lucky though.. beauty about the way it's clamped is that when you torque everything down it naturally provides tension across itself. The chamfer on the top yoke means that the individual risers are kept perfectly straight whist providing the torque to hold the bars to the yoke safely... i always loctite the assembly together to be extra safe and check the torque settings on all the bolts at regular intervals...

Oh an I'd like to keep all of my fairing to, don't want a tuono just nicer riding position

yeah just drilled.. i have my old cut down fairing off of my 02 rsvr with the carbon ears i'd let go cheap if you were interested.. means you have your original and a cut down one... i have since replaced mine with a tuono nose..

nah it's cut and everything with screen trim round the edges so it looks dead on... will even throw in the vinyl mirror block off plates i made to go with it...

No I mean my original ones to make bars fit? My bikes non standard colours so id prefer keep it intact

Yes you have to cut the fairing to fit high bars, that's why I got a replacement one so I didn't have to cut the original.

Ah arse, I'll prob forget this plan then, bikes old n tatty as it is so £300+ could be better spent in other places lol
