Aprilia may be Ducati's poorer Italian cousin, but who cares when it builds superbikes that are as exciting as the RSV? This 998cc V-twin, 128bhp machine has a top speed of 165mph and will cover quarter of a mile of straight road from standstill in 11 seconds. It also handles exceptionally well and feels most at home tilting through fast sweeping bends. But the RSV Mille has developed a reputation for becoming a bit of a monster in the wet and it's extremely easy to bin one on a slimy B-road. That all adds to the excitement though, particularly as used RSV Mille's are no-where near as expensive as range-crowning Ducatis of the same era.
This is what was put on aol today along with the above GOD was the Aprilia RS 125,and among others a harley road king, ducati monster,ZX6R,R1,GSXR1000 and others.
The point about being Ducati's poorer cousin, does this relate to the fact that Ducati owners spend so much money repairing theirs.
What do you think.........................
