I thought the following information may be useful.
I bought a Tom Tom rider Mk2 earlier this year & apart from a few local trips used it for the first time when I went to Assen in June. When I took the device out of my rucksack in Holland the mount had fallen apart. it was evident that some locking pins were missing & being spring loaded it had sprung apart. Though not being aware of any undue knock or jolt I assumed it was probably due to being knocked whilst putting my rucksack on or off. I returned the device to the supplier SAT NAV easy who organised a no quibble replacement.
I used the device for the first time again today & noticed when removing the sat nav from the mount to charge it that the locking pins were once more missing. I can only assume that the V twin vibration has worked the pins loose which have then fallen away.
Thought this may be handy information I would reccomend that anybody who owns or buys one of these devices that they secure the pins in place with some loctite or super glue.
However if furter reccomendation was required I think I'd go for a Car sat nav & one of these headstock bags. As the Bike device is bluetooth it requires a specific car mount that costs about £40.00 & I've also returned one of those that broke. ALternatively just follow somebody else or don't go too far from home.
