Hi guys,

I've bought a Sat nav for a trip I'm planning in summer :devious, now, the device came with a universal mounting(RAM SYSTEM) which they claim it will fit most of motorbikes . I haven't been able to find a suitable place for one reason or another :confused. I guess I will not be so lucky as to find anyone here who's got it on his bike? Or maybe a specific mounting for our bike :dunno

Hi Sergi, you can always mount the satnav in the map pocket of a tank bag.It 's clser to see but use an earpiece for voice instructions.Take no notice of the nehenderthals!Regards AL

Ehh, don't have a tank bag but thanks for the advice... You lot know that I will take some pics once mounted and will post them here ASAP :thumbup

Hi Sergi, take your power from a cigarette lighter adapter direct from the battery(fused feed),as most chargers/gps have this fitting.Bluetooth if fitted, earpiece.Dont use the screen, spoken instructions are safest.I never look at the screen except for routing/input.Standard mount/T TOM RIDER.Mine,Garmin(in tank bag map/pocket),MYGuide(tank bag or suction to screen/mounted inside right of screen).Regards AL

Thanks everyone for the advice. I tried again this morning and still couldn't figure out how to mount it :dunno. Since it also needs to be connected to the power and given the delicate electrics that our bikes have..(and that I am a lazy bastard :nana) I'm taking the bike to southern cross for them to do it.. Hey I will still take some pics and post them once done.
