Well that was a big disappointment.

After looking forward to todays racing all week, with the climax of not one but four world championships to sort out, todays racing was a massive letdown.

Started off OK with the 250GP race, which wasn't exciting but at least it was worth watching and led to Hiro Aoyama winning the title :)

Next up a very very wet Moto GP race which was boring as hell but showed the talents of Casey Stoner to be very impressive still despite the mystery illness and the fact that he is a whinging Aussie shitebag. Anyway at least Rossi got himself yet another title - thats 9 in total if you're counting

Switching to the WSB in Portimao and expecting some awesome racing with Haga being well down the field, he goes and bins it in race 1 which means another boring pair of races instead of the firecracker that this had been building up to be :(
That said, congratulations have to go out to Ben Spies for taking the title in his rookie year - watch out Moto GP !!

Finally the WSS title finale was again a very disappointing affair but nice to see Yamaha's Cal Crutchlow taking the title before he moves to WSB next year :)

Summed up nicely. Was thinking exactly the same.

Rossi with the hen that laid the golden number 9 egg...
fookin quality !!! luvved it , although it did take the shine off a crackin stoner ride ! :thumbup

rossi had to do what he had to do. still say he would have beaten stoner at phillip island, and he walked all over them in practice . itll be good next year

Valencia should be good. Back to bin it or win it I hope as he has nothing to lose now.

yeah thatll be a goodun , george n danny will be up for it as well. hope young bradders gets a win int 125s also .

So as not to bollox up anyone's enjoyment of races they may have recorded, can we follow the lead of most forums and include a "contains spoilers" tag in the title if you are going to discuss a race?

Good idea Paul. Some other forums get quite err, upset, if there's no 'spoiler' warning in the thread title.

To be fair to Cannon - I realised that the content would most likely be just that and didn't read it until after I had a chance to watch the racing.

... and to be honest mate, I thought that the content of the thread would be obvious from the title, but I did omit the *Spolier* bit as I thought that the forum members would be grown up enough to know what was coming.

I should have known better :)

Don't get me wrong either mate. It did not worry me, as I also knew what was coming. I am only saying that I have seen some blokes get their knickers in a knot about it.

Glad to see nobody has yet, just need to see if the Nobster comments, he's terrible for doing allsorts to his pants:crazy.

I kinda figgered it was a race thread so avoided it until I got to watch the races. STOOPID ******* SPEED CHANNEL!!!!

I got to watch the end of the GP on Sunday at work. Stoner wayyyy out in the front in the wet. yay.

WSB with Spies lolly gagging in the back. And Speed only showed the second race. Didn't get to see Nori bin it in the first race basically ******* hisself out of the crown and giving it to that snotty **** from Texas. Exciting race for the front runners but I was left feeling exceptionally empty. Saw a shot of Nori at the end that kinda said it all, his helmet still on, a haunted, empty, and 1,000 metre stare.

NOT a Biaggi fan... very happy to see the Aprilia colours well represented in their first season though. Just wish he would have quit going wide and he might have been a little higher on the podium.

Glad to see Vale win his Ninth though. Although he has been a force of nature, I still love him and want to see him go out on top. Hopefully that will be the Tenth next year.

Now WTF am I going to do over the Winter months???

Fair enough - I was just hoping others would remember not to make the type of mistake i've seen in the past. Threads entitled "Valentino's 9th title" or "Pedrosa takes out Hayden" (old one) it does kinda **** up your enjoyment of a race if you knw the result before they start. The "spoiler" tag is just netiquette.

I've just watched all the weekends racing cause I've been away and its been the first decent chance. Been murder, getting the missis to vet the papers etc, especially having a look on here yesterday too. On the plane home I was sat next to a lady and she had a couple of papers that someone left on the way over. She asked me if I wanted a look and when I told that I daren't and why, she started pissin her sides. Turned out she was the wife of the national Twin Shocks champion and he was 60 and still fanatical over the bike racing. She very kindly scoured the Sun and the Express for me and said it was safe.

The racin was a tad dour, but I already can't wait for next year.

Predictions are,

MotoGp= Lorenzo/Stoner, I think Rossi has been a bit fortunate this year and while I don't for one second think he's had it I reckon it will be a proper 3 rider fight next year. Lorenzo might stay on his bike a bit more and Stoner's a top top rider know matter what you think of him as a person.

Wsbk = Fabrizio/Toseland, I think Ducati have made Fabrizio the No1 rider and if he can control his agression a bit he should do ok and you can't deny Toselands a hard little sod and he'll be wanting to prove himself again.

I would like Edwards to get a win and Nicky Hayden to have some luck.

Also Vermeulan to start competing again, hope he's made the right decision with the Kwak and Camier on a Ape.

lorenzo might stay on his bike ??(i may lose 3 stone) hehehehe
no doubt stoner is a top top rider .....(even though he is a ****)
but rossi will win yet again ! :lol
with stoner close...ish 2nd

Toseland in WSB?? Are you ******* BRAIN DAMAGED??? That poncey **** has about as much chance of winning as I do of losing three stone. And I am even going to try for that.

jaysus... ******* Toseland... *mumble*
