The cheap Motrax rear paddock-stand will not fit the `04 model RSVR (and onwards).
Nothing wrong with the stand, as such, appeared decent enough quality, but the Universal cups it comes supplied with aint quite universal.
I rang the bike shop back where I bought it from, and explained my plight, and they were very good, even if not convinced that it wouldn`t fit, asking me to return with it this morning, which I did. They subsequently tried it with hooks, rather than the "universal" cups, on an `08 plate, and it STILL didn`t fit.
Rather splendidly, they refunded my money, without any problems, as they had no other makes, or Motrax models in.
So, as I said, just for anyone to bear in mind if looking for a new rear paddock stand. :thumbup
