In 00' Mille....there's about 1/2-1ltr to much....should take some out to get it to half way ie between max and min
 
I just changed my oil today as per instructions here http://www.fourwheelforum.com/showthread.php?t=616 as I was putting the new oil in it showed up quicker than I thought on the level tube so I took the drain plug out till the level went to just below minimum took it for a 2 mile spin and when I came back the level was bang on mid way
