Hi guys tried searching but cant seem to find the answers , wanted to know what does the Tip over sensor actually stop working on the bike the ignition ie spark , or fuel injection , or both ?.

many thanks eddie

kills the fuel pump/engine so that if the bike is on its side it doesnt pump fuel al over the place and the engine dont keep running.

Hi thanks for that i had a problem with my bike coming to a halt for no reason at all , and I tried a number of things , cleaned up the ignitor pick up and connections and replaced the tip over sensor so not 100% sure what was the fix in the end , as the bike would crank over but not fire

Asked this about mine gen 2 factory. When I was knocked off, the bike was ticking over on its side, starts fine now as well. So I wondered if gen 2 bikes had one or if mine had been removed. Where is it to check?

on the Gen 1 if you unplug it, you get the EFI flashing on the dash, dunno if it's the same on the Gen 2....

Dunno if you can open the rsv sensor, but on my old TL 1000R I filled it with silicon and that sorted it.
