hi folks
I've got a 2011 tuono v4r non aprc and i fancy the 1100 version is the enormous expense to purchase this version worth it?

Depends on the size of your wallet, I changed over from a Tuned ZX10R and it was the best thing I ever did but I can't comment on the old Tuono. I would go and test ride the new RR or Factory and make up your own mind. QB Motorcycles in Quarry Bank have a demo Factory bike so you could always try it before you buy so to speak.

Just swapped my 2014 v4r abs for a new 1100 and love it, I have only covered 300 miles so far so can't open it up yet but just love it. The seat is night and day different, feels really comfortable for me at 5.10 and even revving to 6k seems quicker with more torque and pulling power. So I would say spend the money if you can afford it. But is it the 3k to 4K more worth it. Yes of course if you have. If not stop with the V4r or spend a bit and upgrade to a 14 aprc abs.

me too, had a v4r yellow for 3 days, but couldnt get a warranty, so put it with my new vfr and got the blue number, its great.

Wife offered to buy me the Tuo 1100Factory when we looked in Chichester I said no thanks happy with what I have ...... Beginning to wonder if I was toooooo hasty now ? :bawling

1100 factory is awesome, best bike I have ever owned and I have had loads. For the price difference over the RR, get the factory. Better paint scheme, Ohlins are just brilliant.

I've recently had my suspension tuned and a few small adjustments to the bars etc, damn this bike is good now!
