hi mate

am dropping my mates pan european off in france on nov 2nd nr BUSSIERE-POITEVINE

am getting into calais at approx 3pm local time and need to get to RUE DE L'EGLISE
76410 CLEON

which is where my hotel is for the night on the way down .

do you know how long it will take me from calais to hotel area and then hotel to BUSSIERE-POITEVINE ?

AM ALSO HAVING TROUBLE UNDERSTANDING MY SAT NAV IT WORKS GREAT IN UK BUT WHEN I PUT THE 76410 IN AS POST CODE IT FINDS SOMETHING SIMILAR BUT NOT EXACTLY THE SAME SHOULD I TRUST IT ? MY MATES SAT NAV IS DOING THE SAME AND THATS A DIFFERENT MAKE THAN MINE ....

oh **** sorry about caps ......

dave ......

Dave, I just took a look at googlemaps and its just past Rouen right? that usually takes me about 3 odd hours from Calais. Go to google and select maps at the top put your destination in and hey presto. gmaps are saying 2and half (Driving directions to Rue de l'Eglise, 76410 Cléon, France
233 km – about 2 hours 23 mins)

cheers deacs

hope you all still talk to me after riding that honda lol

ok this is my mates address aparently chez vignand. 87330 saint barbant

cant find it on google any idea's ?

It's deffo there on gmaps Dave, and that is a lot farther than 2.5 hrs :) as a matter of fact it looks to be not far from Limoges which is about an hour from me. gmaps says: A20 491 km 4 hours 56 mins from your hotel in Cléon

RUE DE L'EGLISE
76410 CLEON

big adventure lol

thanks deacs

no worries matey :thumbup

by the way, the RN roads are far more scenic then the toll roads if you want to see a bit more of small town france. I never use the tolls anymore as my Van isn't as fast as a car or bike and I've found it to be a far better drive. but thats me.

Hi Dave

Sorry M8 been fitting a ******* towbar on the Audi tonight.

I reckon Clyde has covered your trip, th thing to do M8 is to buy an Atlas just in case.

And make sure that the Postcode you put in is correct as France is a bloody big place to get lost in.

Check that you cashcard works in the petrol stations and if you can fill up over there, during DAYTIME not at night as if your card wont work youll be shagged.

Anyway have a good trip M8
