hello again

I've got a 2000 RSVR with an Aprilia race can and the eprom chip. It's running a standard filter. I love the bike and i love the power but I want to fiddle with it and wondered what the best mods are for a bit more grunt.
Carbon Air box? throttle bodies? etc etc...

Also I've been told the linkage from a 2001 model improves the rear end? Has anyone done this, if so what did you think?

The early linkage goes with the early shock and the late linkage goes with the late shock.

As standard:
1998 to 2000 bikes have a 140mm spring free length, and 130mm with standard pre-load.
2001 to 2003 Mille's and 2002 to 2005 Tuono's have a 160mm spring free length, and 147mm with standard pre-load.
Can't remember the dogbone and side plate length differences off hand.

You can use late stuff on early bikes and vice-versa, just don't mix up early shocks and late linkages or late shocks and early linkages!

yeah mate I have the early shock on my 02 (Ohlins Ap840 with Remote Adj).
You have to swap it with the early dogbones too.
Works a treat, tho a bit fragile for the abuse I give the bike).
Look in my garage for available mods. The only thing not done is the forks, I prefer the Showas.
cheers Ck
