took my tb's off last week ,fuel only started leaking when i lowered the tank...maybe only half or less full though

Surely thats leaving a restriction in place? wider TB's would want wider stacks.
must be better to get the stacks from a 2004> bike's airbox, wider-more flow, and they seat correctly in the TB groove.
(not talking from experience here - just throwing it out there)

was thinking if you fit 57 stacks in a hooked box if it wasnt meant for 57's you need to fettle the plate..i.e. dremel out to fit the stacks in and trim the bottoms off...thats what had to be done to mine anyhow when we used a 51mm plate and 57 stacks and tb's
