Thinking to Buy Hooked Airbox

I know some you guys have dynoed with the hooked airbox and was wondering how much of a difference did it make. I looked at making my own airbox with a MWR filter and custom seal to the bottom of the gas tank but just wanted a little more feedback on the open filter setup as opposed to just a bigger sealed airbox. I love my Aprilia so money is definitely not an issue. I just want the best improvement.

With the Renegade style filter kit you should get between 5 and 10bhp, this style of kit is definitely worth doing. I can supply one with a carbon base plate, pipercross filter, new breather filter and longer breather pipe for £160 inc delivery..

That sounds pretty awesome. From what I've read it sounds like most of the horsepower gained is low end and midrange. Does that sound about right? Are there any gains up top?

Do you need to know what size throttle bodies I have for the baseplate openings?
