Thinking about a Daytona anyone recognise it?

Hi all, sorry I haven't made any previous post before, I'm more of a reader than a poster and enjoy the wealth of info,tips and banter usually found on here.
Anyway the reason for the post, I have owned this awesome machine for the last 4 years 20150927_162931.jpg I have loved every minute of riding,cleaning and modding it, but recently I've thought of goin newer :eek: .

I recently spotted this 2016-01-10 15.34.10 (1).jpg which I think looks gorgeous and looks like its been well looked after and has lots of nicely added extras.

I was wondering if anyone recognised it and could vouch for it as a good one? Its for sale at orrell and I have the reg (wasn't sure weather to put that on here ).

I'm considering buying it and running it side by side with mine for the time being just to make sure I'm doing the right thing and because they weren't offering me enough for mine.( eventually one will have to go) :no

Anyway if anyone knows the bike or has any thoughts on the move from 05 to 08 models please let me know.

Looks nice mucker, have you tried one yet as from what I'm told they make their power higher up the range and don't have the low down grunt of the Tuoldo. If I replace mine it will probably be with a v4

No not tried one as yet, I'd love a v4 but waiting till the price comes down a bit more. Thought id try the daytona in the mean time.
 
I love the look of your Gen1 over the Gen2 your Gen1 looks class the Gen2 looks crass - only my opinion :cheers

There's not a great deal between the two bikes & in my opinion its not worth the change.
They take the piss on a p/x, so another reason to keep yours.
 
Cheers fellas. Must admit I do love mine as it is. I'm not gonna rush into it but I've been informed that a good and fairly well known Daytona might be coming up soon!!! will keep you posted.
P.s is eva gonna stop bloody raining!!!
 
Obviously a dealer price, but someone has spent quite a few £££ on mods, Akros, screen, carbon, crash bobs, exhaust hangers, and even an uprated rear shock (looks like and Ohlins, but photos too small). That little lot would be @£1000 even if source second hand. Go for it.
 
Sorry been meaning to update this post. For anyone who doesn't know I got myself an awesome Daytona courtesy of Brooksy well chuffed with it it's a beaut.20160214_151723 (1).jpg
